About RECOVER-SLEEP

Meet the Team

The RECOVER-SLEEP clinical trials, Hypersomnia (Modafinil/Solriamfetol) and Complex Sleep Disturbances (Melatonin + Light Therapy), are led by Christina Barkauskas, MD, and Susan Redline, MD, MPH. They work closely with other members of the RECOVER-SLEEP team, including the principal investigators, or lead researchers, listed below, Long COVID patients and community members, doctors, and scientists, to implement and monitor the conduct of the studies. All team members are valuable contributors to this important research and share their knowledge and experience to help guide the studies.

This research is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Researching COVID to Enhance Recovery (RECOVER) Initiative. The Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) is the Clinical Trials Data Coordinating Center.
